Children's Book Project
For this project, I was tasked with designing characters which can interact with the world like humans do, for the story was based on animals living modern day life. I was responsible for the carrying out the full project, from art direction, to the final execution of the illustrations.
I wanted the book to carry that subtle feeling as if everything was indeed drawn through pencil colours and crayons, while also giving a sense of realism through the highly dense colours and shadows. The goal was to give this project a sense of a lived-in world, and I was able to achieve that through deep shades and textures.
